Saracens name team to face Wasps

Saracens have named their side for Saturday’s round 18 Aviva Premiership game away to London Wasps, kick-off 15h00.

Saracens captain Steve Borthwick is set to equal George Chuter’s all-time Premiership appearances record this weekend, with the 34-year-old lock forward due to play his 262nd English Premiership game at Adams Park. He captains the side from lock and is partnered in the second row by Mouritz Botha.

Elsewhere in the Saracens eight, Jamie George and Matt Stevens replace Schalk Brits and James Johnston at hooker and tighthead prop respectively, whilst Scotland captain Kelly Brown comes in for Jacques Burger at openside flanker.

At half-back, Neil de Kock and Charlie Hodgson come into the side with Richard Wigglesworth and Owen Farrell reverting to the bench.

Scotland international Duncan Taylor partners Brad Barritt in the midfield, whilst the Saracens back three remains unchanged from last weekend’s team, with Chris Ashton, Alex Goode and David Strettle all starting at Adams Park.
