Saracens players to Skydive for Afghan Trust

Twenty-one Saracens players will be taking a giant leap towards the start of the season when they officially launch a new charity partnership with the Afghanistan Trust on Wednesday - by skydiving 13,000 feet with the Red Devils.

The likes of Charlie Hodgson, Schalk Brits and Alex Goode will be taking part in the daring dive with the aim to raise awareness of Saracens latest charity partner, The Afghanistan Trust.

Colin Smith the charity’s CEO: “The Afghanistan Trusts intention is to ensure that enough funds are in place for our Paratroopers and their families who will undoubtedly need help in the future. Many of our wounded soldiers will face their toughest challenges when the leave the Army and we hope to be able to assist them through this. Some of our soldiers who do not yet need assistance will find life very difficult after leaving the support and family of the Regiment and we will be there for them when needed”.
