Saracens to mark Battle of Britain anniversary
“Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few”.
Saracens will be commemorating the 73rd anniversary of the Battle of Britain this weekend, when Gloucester visits Allianz Park this Sunday.
At half time there will be a special commemorative video that celebrates the valour and sacrifice of those who fought to defend their country from the largest airborne bombing campaign of the Second World War.
In preparation for the day, Saracens international stars Kelly Brown, Rhys Gill and Charlie Hodgson visited the RAF museum in Hendon, where they were provided with a guided tour of the facility and introduced to some of the planes that took to the skies in World War Two.
