Saracens up for visit to 'on fire' Chiefs - Sanderson
Alex Sanderson believes Saturday’s opponents Exeter Chiefs are in the form of their lives, as Saracens travel to Sandy Park to face the second placed Devonshire outfit.
Sanderson believes Saracens will have to be at their very best in all facets of their game when they take on Rob Baxter’s in-form outfit on Saturday afternoon.
The forwards coach said; “The Chiefs have a great team, and pose threats all over the park. They are second in the league, and they are there for a reason. They have some dangerous ball carriers, their defence is working very well and the set-piece is really functioning. They are on fire at the moment so we have to be on our game in all aspects tomorrow.
“We’re massively up for the challenge of travelling to Sandy Park, especially after last weekend. The best thing about rugby is, if this was athletics you would have to wait 17 weeks for the next meet, but in rugby you have 6 days to put all of those wrongs, right".
He added; “I know all the lads are keen to get back on the field, and I know that I can’t wait for Saturday”.
