Sarries 'togetherness' impresses Bracken
Former Saracens scrum-half Kyran Bracken believes his former club are in rude health at the midway part of the season.
“Saracens have gone from strength to strength this season” said Bracken, who is currently preparing for ITV1's celebrity skating competition Dancing on Ice.
“I think every team has waves of good and bad, and I suppose that has only happened once so far away to Northampton, but Saracens are certainly proving they are a team to be reckoned with this year.
“This is the most together squad that I’ve ever seen at the club - I think one of their main values is how they fight for one another and in that respect it’s the best I’ve seen it.
Bracken, who played 128 times for Saracens added; “Credit must go to everyone at the club, the players, coaching staff but mainly in my point of view, the captain Steve Borthwick.
“Steve could be described as unsung hero in many respects, but ever since he’s arrived at Saracens he’s been a huge influence, and that togetherness he’s helped establish at the club looks to be paying off yet again”.
