Saracens - Schools Partnership Programme

The Saracens Schools Partnership Programme exists to develop sustainable relationships with schools with existing rugby programmes throughout Hertfordshire, Essex and Kent. The programme aims to develop rugby and offer a variety of innovative services & products that are beneficial to its staff, players and parents.

 Schools Partnership Outline

To provide support across all teams, aiding the growth of an existing rugby programme within the school’s playing and coaching network.

The partnership will enable the school players and staff to benefit from exclusive access to Saracens development training plans for rugby including S&C (where applicable). Saracens will support this by aiming to provide a coach(es) on an agreed basis to deliver across every age group within the school at an hourly rate.

As part of the partnership, your school may have the opportunity to a host a Saracens Rugby camp in conjunction with Premiership Rugby (PRL), along with the possibility of hosting Saracens Academy Pathway training sessions and festivals. The rugby camp programme may provide an opportunity to run the school’s own preseason training camp led by Saracens coaches. These can be formatted on a bespoke basis for requirements of the school, subject to agreement and costs.

In addition to the above, the school will be able to benefit from group ticket offers on Saracens home games at Allianz Park and at external sites, access to brand association and Saracens’ rugby development social media pillars. Saracens will support the school with official logos that can be applied to the school website and kit (not compulsory) and finally a social media tag to use for partnership interaction.

Coach Education

Coach education is a vital part of the Partnership Programme. Sessions will be accessible for all partner coaches with Saracens providing Coach the Coaches sessions and specific skill development evenings.

Throughout the season coaches and staff from the school will be able to gain access to services such as The Masterclass Coach Education @ Allianz Park, free access to the Online Coach Education Hub and guest sessions through the season from Saracens pathway coaches.

Rugby Coaches

As part of the partnership, Saracens will provide a DBS certified, award winning Saracens community development coach(es) with a minimum Level 2 qualification and experience to support the rugby programme throughout the school rugby term. This will be agreed on an hourly rate basis in conjunction with the school’s rugby calendar and subject to coach availability.
