Saracens Mavericks is delighted to announce that seven key players have all re-signed for the 2023 Vitality Netball Super League Season.

The Mavericks, who are looking to build on their fifth placed finish last season with a new coaching group of Tamsin Greenway and Camilla Buchanan have made their first significant step by renewing the contracts of seven crucial members of the squad.

Ine Mari Venter, Britney Clarke, Sasha Corbin, Beth Ecuyer-Dale, Aliyah Zaranyika, Razia Quashie and Jodie Gibson will all be remaining with the Mavs for the foreseeable future.

Venter, who is a South African international and represented them during the Commonwealth Games will enter her third season with the Mavs. Clarke, who has plenty of experience for a 22-year-old will also enter her third year with the VNSL side.

Corbin, who has 71 caps for England, nine seasons as Mavericks captain and over a decade at the club she will be looking to pass on all of her experience to the rest of the squad. Ecuyer-Dale, who is entering her sixth campaign at the club is a former England age grade player and will be looking to kick on.

Zaranyika has come through the pathway at the club, whilst Gibson has a Gold Medal from the Commonwealth Games in 2018 to add to her impressive CV.

Quashie is about to embark on her seventh season, and is currently working hard on her rehab to be back firing for the 2023 campaign.

Camilla Buchanan, Head Coach is delighted to have some highly experienced players available for the upcoming campaign.

“When I look at this group of players, I’m incredibly excited to be working with them under a new light. You will see fantastically talented and exciting players who have the ability to drive a new regime in a building phase of a new look Saracens Mavericks. Each one of them are dedicated to lifting the Saracens brand and I can’t wait for our supporters to get back alongside us to cheer on some of their favourite ballers.”
