Emma started her life as an athlete in the swimming pool training regularly from the age of seven and competing at County level by nine. The swimming continued into high school where her fitness and strength enabled her to compete at County and Regional level in Netball, Athletics and Cross Country. A brief exposure to tag rugby saw her Richmond Borough team win the London Youth Games twice which was followed by two seasons of Rugby League at her school where they were placed 3rd in the National Schools competition. Swimming remained the main sport until a bout of Glandular Fever and her approaching GCSE’s persuaded her that a change in sports was needed. After just a few club matches for Grasshoppers she was selected to play for Middlesex which led to a Divisional Selection and she is now in her third year of England U20.
Family remains a big part of Emma’s life choosing to live at home through her University studies. Emma also loves to spend time with the Swedish side of her family, using the summer house in Sweden to rest and recuperate each summer. Followed by a week of surfing in Cornwall with the rest of her family.
Emma is currently studying Strength and Conditioning Sciences at St Mary’s University in Twickenham. Her aim to work with Elite Athletes and help them achieve their dreams and aspirations.
