One of the most versatile players in the club’s back division, Alex Goode has developed into a star for Saracens in the past few seasons, playing over 230 games for Saracens.

A future as a professional sportsman was evident from an early age, as Goode’s multi-sport background saw him excel in tennis, athletics and football, however rugby grabbed his attention and he joined the Saracens Academy, making his senior debut in 2008 and establishing a regular starting spot in the 2008/09 season.

His consistency in delivering outstanding performances for Saracens has seen the team win 3 Premiership titles and back-to-back Champions Cup titles in an extremely successful period for the club.

Goode has enjoyed international recognition, playing for a succession of England age groups before making his first senior England appearance under then head coach Stuart Lancaster in 2012, playing in the famous victory over New Zealand at Twickenham.

Alex’s impressive club form has earned him selection for the invitational side the Barbarians, and in addition to this honour, he was named as Premiership Rugby Player of the Season in the 2015/16 season.
