David Strettle made his return to Saracens in the summer of 2018, signing a one-year deal at Allianz Park.

The veteran winger left the club for Clermont Auvergne three years previous, winning the 2017 French title as well as playing in the Champions Cup final against the Men in Black in the same year. He was also Clermont’s top try scorer during the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons.

A two-time Premiership champion with Sarries, Stretts earned eight of his 14 England caps in his first spell in north London - scoring 48 tries in 139 appearances.

The former Rotherham Titans and Harlequins man expressed his delight of heading back to St. Albans with his young family and adds vital experience to the squad.
