A powerful, hard-hitting ball carrier, Jackson Wray is another highly skilled graduate from the Saracens academy who has gone on to achieve success at the senior level, making over 170 appearances for the club.

Essex born and bred, Jackson’s time with Saracens has seen him develop from promising youngster to top class Premiership player, his performances benefitting from a spell on loan with Championship side Bedford Blues. Wray really burst on to the scene in the first half of the 2010/11 season, recording a man of the match performance in front of the TV cameras at Bath, before becoming a mainstay in Mark McCall’s side from 2013/14 season onwards.

His string of outstanding performances across several seasons of success for Saracens saw him named in the Premiership Rugby Team of the Year at the end of the 2016/17 season.

Jackson’s promise as a youngster was rewarded through international representation for England U16 and U20. More recently, Wray’s fine form in both the Premiership and in Europe competition saw the back-rower called up to Stuart Lancaster’s 55-man England training squad in the summer of 2014.
