A successful product of the Saracens Academy since joining at the age of 14, Jamie George is emerging as a fine talent on the club and international stage, gaining widespread praise for his performances.

Educated at Hertfordshire’s Haileybury School, alma mater of a handful of fellow Sarries, Jamie George comes from a rugby playing family, with his father having represented Northampton Saints, London Welsh and the Barbarians throughout his own playing career.

George made his senior team debut in November 2009, and carved out a regular first team spot for himself in the 2010/11 season, winning the club’s maiden Premiership title in the process. From there his club level success has spiralled, going on to make over 170 appearances for Saracens as well as winning further Premiership titles and Champions Cup titles, and his progression has been aided by sharing the No 2 shirt with the experienced Schalk Brits- a rotation system that does get the very best out of both players.

His form for Saracens has earned Jamie international recognition, now one of the regulars in the senior England matchday squad after his first cap in 2015, and was part of the team that has won back-to-back 6 Nations titles, completed a victorious 3-0 summer tour of Australia and equalled a world record run of wins under head coach Eddie Jones. He was also selected as part of the touring party for the British and Irish Lions in 2017, included in the Test Match side against the All Blacks.
