Known for his long-range ability from the kicking tee and elegant playing style, Marcelo Bosch has firmly established himself as a fans’ favourite at Allianz Park.

Born in Argentina, he grew up playing rugby at the Belgrano Athletic Club in Buenos Aires until the prospect of a professional rugby career took him away from his business studies qualification and across the Atlantic Ocean to France, where he signed for Biarritz in 2006.

Recognising his untapped potential, Bosch joined Sarries in 2013, with the Argentine being involved in Premiership and Champions Cup titles and has developed into a more consistent player with Saracens.

His last-gasp penalty kick against Racing 92 from 48 metres out to send Saracens through to the 2015 Champions Cup semi-final is a memory that will live long in the memory of Sarries fans.

He’s also represented Argentina on the international stage, earning 39 caps for Los Pumas and playing an influential part of the team in the 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cups.
