Another outstanding graduate of the Saracens academy, Nick Tompkins is becoming known for his excellent handling, tricky footwork and staunch defending.

Born in Sidcup, Tompkins started out his rugby career in the forward pack, playing at flanker before moving to the centres in age-grade rugby. A young Nick represented Kent U14-U16 and London & SE U16 en-route to joining the Saracens Academy.

He made his 1st XV debut in 2012 against Leicester Tigers in the Anglo-Welsh tournament, and his impressive performances since then has already seen him surpass 50 caps for Sarries. Nick’s dynamic skill set and scintillating form has allowed him to feature in both the Premiership and Champions Cup campaigns for the club.

Nick already has a remarkable international rugby CV, appearing at multiple age grades for England. Most notably, he was involved in the England U20’s side who won the 2014 Junior World Championship, as well as reaching the 2015 final, and he played in England Saxons' 2016 tour.

With the Saracens Academy producing high-class players such as Owen Farrell and Maro Itoje, Nick looks well on track to adding his name to that list of successes as he constantly works to improve.
