ABOUT ALIYAH

Aliyah joined Saracens Mavericks in 2020, gaining her first cap in Birmingham in front of a packed out crowd of over 5,000. She came on at WD to play against Severn Stars' world renowned and England Technical Coach, Leana Leota, who now coaches Leeds Rhinos.
 
Aliyah has come through the ranks of Saracens Mavericks, from our Development squads, through into our NSL squad. Most recently being selected for England Netball U21 squad, she has continued to work behind the scenes, focus on herself and build on individual gains and areas of improvements. 

As a full time student at University, Aliyah balances her studies and being a committed netballer constantly is striving to improve and develop her game. She shows no fear, driving through for interceptions throughout the court and has continued to develop her understanding and connections within our back 4 defensive players. Representing Cumberland Netball, Aliyah is dedicated, committed and a great team player.
