“Spencer has an excellent running game and his game control has developed superbly.” – former England wing Ugo Monye
Ben Spencer’s eye for a gap, sharp turn of pace and accuracy from the boot has seen him recognised on the international stage.
The scrum-half was called up for England’s 2018 tour of South Africa, coming off the bench in the first Test and has since appeared in the Six Nations.
His debut against the Springboks came seven years after making his Saracens debut having joined the Academy from Cambridge after impressing whilst on trial.
Originally hailing from Stockport, the ex-Ivybridge College pupil has featured over 150 times for Saracens, proving influential in the club’s Anglo-Welsh Cup, Premiership and European successes.
