“I want to be the best coach I can be, whether that’s in development rugby or in professional elite rugby.”

James Tirrell has been a part of Saracens since the age of 14.

A member of the club’s Academy, he progressed to the first team but injuries blighted his chance of a long-lasting career.

He has since developed into a fine Academy coach, helping players in the Sarries system advance their game and become first-team Saracens.

“I hope to give back to the sport and bring kids through and help someone else reach their dream.”

Academy backs coach Tirrell signed a long-term contract with the club in June 2019.
