“Saracens have a history of developing young players and I’m excited to see how far my game can develop with them.”

After five seasons with Harlequins, Josh Ibuanokpe swapped the Twickenham-based outfit for north London and Saracens.

The explosive prop linked up with his new teammates at the beginning of the 2019/20 pre-season, a period which saw him collect a degree in Physics from Bristol University.

A former Number 8, Ibuanokpe helped Dulwich College to win three National Schools Cups in successive years before penning a deal at The Stoop.

He balanced his time with Quins alongside his further education and made his senior debut in the 2017/18 Anglo-Welsh Cup against Sarries, signing professional terms ahead of the following season.

The England age-grade tighthead’s first Premiership and European outings both came in the 2018/19 campaign.
