Mike Rhodes quickly became a fan favourite after arriving at Allianz Park in 2015.

A tough-tackling, durable back rower, the back rower began his professional career with the Sharks in his hometown Durban before stints in Super Rugby with the Lions and the Stormers.

He moved across to England with Sarries ahead of the 2015/16 season and he contributed immensely to the club’s success that season. The following season Rhodes starred for the Wolfpack as they retained their European crown and he was recognised by his teammates, winning Players’ Player of the Year.
