The young Dutchman attended Paul Roos Gymnasium to study for the last two years ahead of penning a deal with Saracens in June 2019.

Prior to joining the Men in Black, he completed a season with former Sarrie Ernst Joubert at the Stellenbosch Academy of Sport.
