Sasha Corbin








Sasha Corbin has been with the franchise since it launched in 2005.
The Mavericks captain is one of the most popular figures in netball and is very much a fan favourite. Corbin made her England Roses debut in 2007 and was part of the 2014 Commonwealth Games team that finished fourth, losing out to Jamaica for a bronze medal.
She has experienced success in a Mavericks jersey, helping the franchise to the Superleague title in 2010.
As well as the Mavericks, Corbin has also played for Team Bath and Loughborough Lightning in the VNSL, as well as New Zealand netball team, Northern Mystics, in the ANZ Premiership.
Sporting ability runs through her family with sister Kadeen also an England Roses international and member of the Saracens Mavericks squad. Their cousin Asha Philip is an Olympic, World and Commonwealth medallist in the 4 x 100m relay
