Club legend Sonia Green been a mainstay of the Saracens squad for nearly twenty years.



PLAYER BIO

ABOUT SONIA

Sonia Green, or Sonic as she is better known, joined Saracens two years after she first started playing rugby at the age of 19, and continues to be a part of the squad over twenty years later.

During her time with Sarries, she studied Sports Science at Loughborough University and continued to play for Saracens so she could pursue her England career.

She has played alongside some incredible players from all around the world and has worked with excellent coaches who have supported her in fulfilling her dream of playing for England.

Green’s best rugby memories include winning a number of Premiership and Cup titles with Sarries, captaining England A, playing in the Hong Kong 7s, winning the 7s World Series with England and playing in numerous 7s tournaments around the world for England, Samurai & Tribe.

In her free time Sonic loves travelling in her campervan and surfing in exotic locations.

Her favourite surf spot so far is Ocean Beach in San Diego and Arugum Bay in Sri Lanka.

Green is also the Vice Principal at Saracens High School.
