“Koch put in a titantic performance in the Champions Cup final to give Rassie Erasmus a World Cup selection headache.” – SA Rugby Mag
Vincent Koch’s powerful scrummaging and great ability around the park are two of the hallmarks of his game.
A native South African, Koch joined the club from Super Rugby franchise the Stormers in the summer of 2016 and has grown into a strong crowd favourite at Allianz Park.
He was part of the squad which retained the European Cup in 2017, earning man of the match in the semi-final, and has since won another alongside two Premiership titles.
The tighthead prop’s performances over the years have seen him a consistent selection in the Springboks squad having made his international debut against New Zealand in the 2015 Rugby Championship.
Koch looks set to head to Japan with South Africa for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
