Support the Foundation on Saturday 3rd January
The start of 2015 sees Saracens take on London Irish on Saturday 3rd January. In an extension of the season of goodwill the Saracens Sport Foundation will be running activities so that everybody associated with Saracens, in any way, can contribute to the ongoing success and impact of the Saracens Sport Foundation.
The ‘Change 2 Change lives for the better’ campaign will be running over the Christmas and New Year period to support the Sarrie’s Skills Club which provides opportunities for young people with severe autism and their families. The weekly sports clubs helps members to be active and feel a sense of belonging – something that is all too rare for many of these fantastic individuals. The Club, which involves the whole Saracens family from players to fans, is in its final year of grant funding and with your help we intend to keep this club running for a long time yet. To see our work in action watch our latest Sarrie’s Skills Club video here.
Last year saw over £20,000 raised to fund the creation of a Sensory Room at Allianz Park – the first of its kind anywhere in a professional sports stadium. This has revolutionised what we can offer and has enabled the Foundation to expand its provision to include a rugby offer and soon a dance club. All this great work requires funding… and that's why the matchday on 3rd January is a huge opportunity to support the running of this much needed club.
Please get behind the Foundation and support this club which is truly changing lives. There will be a variety of fundraising activities in the lead up and on the day itself. To donate now visit our donation page here, text CTOC15 £5 to 70070, join our patron scheme or simply come to the match and support us then.
