Thank you Saracens Pioneers
Saracens Rugby Club would like to thank the Saracens Pioneers for all their hard-work over the weekend at Allianz Park it what were pretty awful conditions.
Herman Beetge, Saracens Pioneer Programme Manager said; “For the club Saturday would be a day to remember for a few reasons; For one it would be the score between two of the strongest teams in the league, the second would be the weather with its high winds and strong rain and thirdly it would be the visit of one of the season’s most anticipated guest, namely Santa Claus.
"However, the day would mostly be remembered by the club for the work done by a group of people who go out of their way to ensure every single spectator enjoys their time at Allianz Park, namely the Saracens Pioneers. They are the club’s committed volunteers who arrives a few hours before kick-off and prepare the stadium for our fans and spectators.
"The club would like to thank all the Pioneers for their effort made on the day. Their commitment was superb. The wind and rain was beating down all day long but when the TV Cameras picked up the Pioneers numerous times throughout the match, we could not find one single despondent face.
He added; "The club wishes to thank every single Pioneer who made the day the success it was. The sun stayed away but your commitment gave the club the warm hospitable atmosphere needed - to all the Pioneers we wish you all a relaxed festive season and we hope to see you all in the new year ”.
