'We'll learn from Chiefs defeat' - Fraser
Will Fraser bemoaned Saracens error count against Exeter Chiefs but believes the team will learn from a frustrating defeat away to the high-flying, Devonshire outfit.
The back-rower, who started the game at Sandy Park at blindside flanker, revealed that although Saracens were hugely disappointed with their overall performance, that they will learn their lessons heading into a huge European clash away to Sale Sharks next Saturday.
Speaking after the game, Fraser said; “I think the main thing is, we’ve shown before how well we have bounced back from set-backs, and the way we have rectified what has gone wrong in the week after a defeat. We know what we do and how we play is the right way to play, and we’re not worries about our processes or our systems".
"We’ll learn from these last few weeks and put them into the next few games, against Sale".
"You have to give credit where credit is due, they played very well tonight. We made a lot of soft errors, penalties, knock-on's. They played well, and tactically, probably got it all right on the night.. There’s no one reason as to why we lost tonight”.
He added; “There are probably multiple reasons as to why and we need to learn from that and take into our next game”.
