Saracens will 'relish' Sandy Park test - Goode
Alex Goode believes Saracens will "relish" going down to Sandy Park this weekend, as Saracens prepare to face the Exeter Chiefs this Saturday in round 8 of the Aviva Premiership.
"I think we pride ourselves on our away form and how we can go into different environments and do well" said Goode.
"We like to go into a hostile places with an atmosphere, and Sandy Park is a very tough place to go - we lost there last year and they have started the season extremely well.
The 25 year-old England full-back added; "They (Exeter) are coached very well, they have some very good players so we know that we’re in for a tough task, but we don’t feel intimated anywhere and we relish these types of atmospheres - we’re looking forward to playing there this Saturday".
Goode returns to the side after his involvement in England's autumn international series, and the classy full-back praised Saracens squad for their performance in the LV=Cup during his time away with the national side.
"We have a very strong squad, and at certain times of the year where other squads may suffer we can rotate, players come in a do the job and play really well, and factor in international guys returning that makes for a very strong squad at this time of the season".
Goode went on to say; "It’s good to be back with the club, obviously it’s great to see everyone again and all of the lads make you feel right at home, and you want to do a great job for the club when you return".
"You want to perform – there have been some great wins in the LV=Cup, and the boys have been in top form and confidence is high within the camp but we know that we’re in for a tough game away at Exeter."
