Wigglesworth - 'Front foot key'
Richard Wigglesworth believes Saracens will have to get on the front foot against Harlequins to give them a best chance of coming away from The Stoop with a win.
The 31-year-old scrum-half, who starts alongside Charlie Hodgson at half-back, believes Saracens have tightened up a few aspects of their play during a week’s training, after their opening day 34-28 win against Wasps.
“There were a few things from last Saturday’s game that we’ve looked at over the week on the training paddock which we’ve addressed,” said Wigglesworth.
“It’s up to us to put those into practice and get on the front foot tonight. It’s a lot easier to get into your shape and get into your defensive structure when you are on the front foot - so that is our challenge.”
He added; “It’s a big game because it’s our next game. We’re playing a good team away from home so we know it will be a huge test– we’re really looking forward to it.”
